About Us

My name is Catrice and my daughter's name is Amari whom the business is named after. I had Amari late in life. I got pregnant at the age of 47. It was an unexpected pregnancy that was also a difficult one. Afterwards I suffered from postpartum depression which I was in denial for about a full year. I was feeling insecure, unworthy and stressed. Finally admitting, accepting and now willing to do something about it Amari’s Creative Corner came about. I knew I wasn’t the only woman going through this. I want to uplift and encourage women who may be going through a rough season in their lives like I was. I want to be able to put a smile on someone’s face. Let them know they are able, capable, loved, worthy and important. With God on my side, I got through it, and I ask him to lead me into helping others.  I believe in community, and it takes positivity and inspiration to help others. I want my products to bring that. I also want to leave a legacy for Amari. I want her to also know the importance of having a relationship with God and allowing her to be used by him to make a difference and serve.
